Happy Halloween.

This guy was finally found grabbing a burger yesterday.

I love this time of year, I love dressing up and seeing everyone around town enjoying the day while they are dressed up.

I wear a space suit that I got from Amazon a few years back. I ordered it and it took forever to arrive so they gave me a refund and then a few months later it showed up. So essentially it was free. It’s an XL so it’s a smidge on the big side but it keeps me warm because it’s the same fabric of the blanket they give you after you finish a marathon.

I hand out candy a few blocks over at a friends place, we try to beat our numbers every year. Last year we hit 25 and this year we hit 32 thanks to a large group of teenagers. The building is decorated and it’s in a bit of a Halloween Trick or Treat desert so we do our best to flag down the passerby’s to keep increasing our numbers.

The best costume last night was a family who had a 4 year old dressed as a birthday cake, Dad was a cookie, Mom was a chef and their 4 month old was a cup cake. Adorable.

The other best costume we saw was a mine craft character made out of cardboard. It was hard for them to move around but their Mom was doing their best to guide them.

I hope you got out to enjoy the evening, even if you don’t have kids find a way to connect on the day because it’s so much fun.
