Alex, paper doll #3.

Alex and I have worked together for years, we tried to figure out how many during this shoot and we lost count. We do know that we first met when she was just starting out in modelling and now she has graduated from University and is embarking on her second job that will carry her forward in her career.

I have been cooking creative ideas and when I am looking for someone to help me execute them I reach out to my network because trying to explain the concept to a modelling agency is sometimes difficult especially if you don’t have a photo as an example to use as a mood board.

Alex and I created the third instalment of my Paper Doll project where I dismantled 10 copies of the Fall 2024 Holt Renfrew magazine. It was a beautiful piece of marketing and the pages were so sturdy that I strung them together into outfits.

Capturing them was a joint process and I love collaborating because it always expands the scope of the project and gives us a new avenue to walk down during the process.
