Avery, an editorial for Moevir Magazine, September Issue.

This editorial is something I had in my mind for a long time.

Working with Avery was easy and dreamy, they are so fun and amazing to create with because they contribute ideas I had yet to consider.

We called this spread Jilted because of the vibe it has but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There was no jilting that had occurred, I was just thinking about what the viewer might recognize as the emotion in the series and I think we got it.

I had a series of vintage dresses to use and we went to second beach at low tide. I am lucky and have the beach in my backyard so it was a short walk on a hot day and getting into the water was easy and fun.

Avery has been modelling for a while now and can show up to a shoot with a basic face of makeup and tousled hair that is camera ready along with their own ideas of what they want as the look and feel along side of mine.
